I'm a photographer based in South Holland. OVERDRIVE started as somewhere to put the pictures I took at motor shows and race weekends, and allowed me to do showroom work for dealers in Rotterdam and Łódź, media accreditation at Motoclassic Wrocław and the Warsaw Motor Show, and a product campaign for Turtle Wax.
Most of it, though, has been shot without a pass — Dutch Grand Prix weekends, endurance racing at Spa, historic meetings and concours events, standing in the same crowd as everyone else.
I also shoot what most people walk past: a tired Volvo on a side street, a Fiat 500 outside a canal house. Winter goes on LEGO builds and studio work.
